One of the most iconic cars of all time got another makeover. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc will be made of porcelain; the first car ever to be cast in porcelain.
Bugatti approached with Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin to help with the porcelain body of the new Grand Sport. The Grand Sport also have porcelain trim inside the cabin.
The Bugatti Grand Sport is one of the world’s fastest convertible car; creating it out of porcelain may seem like a farfetched idea.
According to Bugatti Automobiles, “This is what the Bugatti stands for: the realization of exceptional ideas whilst striving for the utmost in quality and aesthetics. This allows us to continue Ettore Bugatti’s heritage, who himself loved to experiment with new materials”.
What other important factor is affected by adding the porcelain trim? The price. The New Bugatti Grand Sport L’Or Blanc will cost $2.39 million USD or 1.65 million euros.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc was presented in 2011. The one-off edition Grand Sport is available for sale at the KPM Workshop in Berlin, Germany.
